What to expect when we set up your bouncy castle hire?

On the day of the event. 

We will let you know that we have arrived and are ready to set up your bouncy castle. If the bouncy castle is a surprise, we can be discreet and work with you to help add to the excitement! 

Mapping the route

Bouncy castles are heavy so we use a trolley to get it over to the chosen area for your event. But to ensure there are no surprises, we do a route check to make sure there are no obstacles or hazards along the way. Not all spaces are easily accessible but we always want to find a way to make it work so that your little one gets to bounce away with our bouncy castle hires! 

Potential hazards

Once we’ve identified that there is a safe route for both the equipment and staff, we need to ensure that the space itself it on solid flat ground with no potential hazards or dangers to the bouncy castle, but more importantly the children. This can include prickly bushes, rock features, walls, fountains and many other factors. There also needs to be a clear and safe route for the 25m extension lead to connect to power. We need to ensure that the party goes ahead with all safety measures ticked off.

Now we have established it is safe for the the castle to be inflated, we begin bringing the equipment in. 

What equipment is brought in?

As expected there is the bouncy castle and the bouncy castle blower. The other pieces of equipment are the 25m extension lead, the safety mat or mats, the pegs and mallet, and the cleaning equipment. For indoor events or on days where the wind is above 20kph, there will be sandbags to help ensure the castle remains grounded, secure and safe. 

The fun part

Now that all equipment is in, it’s the moment the little ones have been waiting for. Time to position the castle, ensure that the blower is secured and time to inflate. They inflate quickly and it never gets boring. Little ones tend to love seeing it them inflate. Once inflated, another check is needed to make sure the bouncy castle is positioned safely. Then we hammer our pegs in to secure it down and keep it safely in place. 

Clean clean clean

Our castles are kept clean as they are wiped down with anti-bacterials after each hire but as a safety measure, we give it a once-over and spray disinfectant over the castle before we leave.
